Darius took my MacBook in with what could have been water damage....in fact he traced the problem to a dead battery due to the charging port being damaged. He also checked for water damage at the same time. Brilliant service and saved me a fortune which was very much appreciated in these difficult times ....thanks so much Darius!

After being told my Macbook Pro was irreparably dead after an incident involving my cat and a cup of tea, a friend suggested MyComputerWorks before I gave up all hope. I had resigned myself to having to buy a new one, so when Darius said that he could fix my Macbook for less than a third of the price in one day, I couldn't quite believe it. Other reviewers have said that Darius is a miracle worker, and it is absolutely true. Two weeks on and my Mac works perfectly. I massively recommend - don't go to anyone else.

Darius is a capable, kind and trustworthy person who I wholeheartedly recommend to any of you having trouble with your macs. The service was impeccable and he went the extra mile, helping me with my time-machine and backing up my files too. With cider spilled on my machine and a crackling sound from a shorting battery, I thought I was doomed. However, Darius managed to clean up, fix and replace the inside of my mac within a matter of days, enabling me to complete my PhD applications before the deadline. I feel very lucky to live so close by, he has gained a customer for life.

Darius very quickly identified the issues with my Mac which was running very slow with the dreaded colour spinning wheel. He ordered the parts, fixed it, upgraded word and excel and had my computer back with me the next day. Not very often you find such a knowledgeable person who went above and beyond to fix a couple of laptops that would have been uneconomical to repair via an apple re-seller. I will definitely be using Darius again and would recommend anyone having an out of warranty repair also do the same. If Heineken did Apple Repairs this is where it would happen !!. Justin

I took my daughter's Macbook Pro to My Computer Works for repair. I met Darius who was very polite and certainly knew about the particular problem and more besides. A rare thing these days with many other companies. He mananged to get Apple to replace a faulty screen. I found Darius to be very fair and reasonable with the cost. Very pleased and would highly recommend anyone with a computer problem to contact My Computer Works. I am not related in any way and have no affiliation to them.

Really went the extra mile for me. Diagnosing a very odd rare motherboard issue after my pc started to fail to boot. Went to extreme lengths to ensure the fault was identified for me. And the price was incredibly generous. Even came and collected and dropped back the PC from my flat too!

Darius went out of his way to ensure that our iMac and MacBook were upgraded in the best possible way. He took the trouble to clean the machines, re-glue the screen on the MacBook and even replaced missing feet on it too! The service was quick and communication excellent and prices very reasonable. Recommend taking your computer to Darius for some TLC.

Never known a service provider to have so many 5 star reviews. I know why. He is exceptional at what he does. My sad old iMac was handed over in a sorry state and I got back a sleek, super fast thing of beauty that is a delight to use.All singing, all dancing again for less than a plumber's call out fee. Darius has done such a good job I probably won't have to use him again, but I am more than happy to recommend him to anyone with a computer in need of a little bit of TLC. Or resurrection. like mine!

Darius diagnosed the issue I was having immediately and fixed it straight away. He then advised me that my computer was not running on full capacity and recommended switching to an SSD which he did the next day. Thoroughly recommend MyComputerWorks, we have had our iMac memory upgraded and replaced the old slow hard drive with a nice fast SSD drive which has given it a complete new lease of life. Our MacBook was also messing around, one new battery later and a solid state drive upgrade, it's been like like a brand new Mac! Very friendly and helpful, always very accomodating. I have been a customer of MCW for just over a year and I have constantly been delighted with the excellent service I receive. Darius is knowledgeable, helpful and very quick at addressing any problems I encounter. As a first-time MAC owner (also purchased via MCW), I am utterly converted! Having had a problem with my MacBook, I thought that an Apple store would be the best option to find a solution, how was I wrong! After a very quick diagnoses, honest opinion on the problem, Darius had a solution within a couple of hours! No comparison to 5-10 working days and significant price hike given to me by Apple directly! Darius can't be more highly recommended.

I took my daughter’s water damaged MacBook (at least that’s what she told me) to Darius for repair. After an... initial discussion that it could be complicated as this model was limited in its manufacturing duration, it in fact turned out to be a failed battery and changing port. Darius inspected and cleaned where needed and then replaced the defective parts with genuine Apple parts and revived the laptop. I’m so grateful, as I didn’t want to have to buy any new device... this saved me an absolute fortune and I’m not only pleased but very impressed with the care and quality of the service I received. Darius is an absolute star. Had issues with my laptop crashing with the blue screen of death, as well as not always... starting up with just a black screen. He kindly agreed to take a look, and gave it a proper good looking over. Whilst initially finding no major problems, when I was able to tell him exact dates and times of these crashes, he checked my log history, and cleverly discovered a missing Windows pathway - hence laptop not being able to start up. He fixed this missing pathway, and hey presto all good. He also changed my hard drive to a SSD, so my laptop operates much better and more quickly. It is like having a brand new laptop - not one which is actually 9 years old and I love. He also sent me an idiots guide ( after googling the issue for me) on how to get rid of an annoying "Debug" folder with crash reports inside, that kept appearing in one of my folders on a consistent basis. Having followed these instructions, this irritating "bug" is no more!!! Darius was recommended to me, and I would highly recommend him to anyone else. He is clearly knowledgeable and a master in his work, friendly yet professional, and fixed it all in a very reasonable time, and at a fair price. A very happy and satisfied customer.read more

Best service ever! I’m a complete dinosaur when it comes to Computors. ‘ Buy a new one’ so many people said... when I asked in FB about my old Mac. However Darius was Recommended To me. One quick easy Phone-call, And simple explanation to Me. (Needed!) 24hrs later my Mac is fixed and being dropped back to Me same Day! And at a Snip of the price of a ‘New one’ that everyone said I needed. I’m now feeling chuffed that I have an up to date PC.
