Fixing Macbook logic boards that Apple refuses to fix
This customer did the right thing after knocking a glass of water over it whilst in use. Immediately unplugged it, turned it upside down and placed it keyboard down on a tea towel overnight. Did NOT try and turn it on the next day, but phoned us and brought it in.
With these spills, time is of the essence as the whole time the battery is connected it will continue to corrode. Even though when ‘off’ there are live rails carrying voltage across the logic board.
